Since 2017, Brad Perry has proudly called Raritan Township home, where he lives with his wife, Amy. Since putting down roots in the community, Brad has looked for meaningful ways to serve and give back.
Brad served for six years as a volunteer firefighter with the Raritan Township Fire Company, gaining firsthand experience working alongside the people who help keep our community safe. His commitment to service continued through his work on the Township’s Zoning Board of Adjustment, where he served from 2020 to 2023 and gained valuable experience in land use, development, and planning for the Township’s future.
Professionally, Brad holds a doctorate in pharmacy and works in regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry. His career has taught him the importance of careful decision-making, accountability, and attention to detail, qualities he believes are just as important in local government.
When asked what he considers his most significant achievements during his time as Mayor and on the Township Committee, Brad points to preserving hundreds of acres of open space and farmland, as well as protecting the community's character by passing a resolution and introducing an ordinance to ban data centers. He is equally proud of creating a new Recreation Advisory Committee and upgrading local parks. Through it all, he has maintained strict fiscal discipline in developing the municipal budget while ensuring first responders have the resources necessary to keep the town safe.
For Brad, serving Raritan Township means protecting what makes the community a great place to live while planning responsibly for the future. He believes local government should be practical, accountable, and focused on the needs of the residents it serves.

With nearly a decade of roots in Raritan Township, experience as a volunteer firefighter, Zoning Board member, Committeeman and Mayor, and a professional career grounded in accountability and regulation, Brad is ready to continue putting his experience and commitment to work for the community he and Amy are proud to call home.
For more than 40 years, Darlene Kuhl has proudly called Raritan Township home. After graduating from Centenary College with a B.S. in Education, Darlene dedicated her career to educating and supporting local families and her commitment to the community didn’t stop in the classroom.
For decades, Darlene has rolled up her sleeves and served wherever she was needed. From leading Girl Scouts and teaching CCD classes to serving as Vice President of the HCRHS Booster Club and helping bring back Community Day, Darlene has always believed that strong communities are built by people who show up, pitch in, and care.
Now a retired local educator, wife, mother, and grandmother, Darlene is ready to bring that same passion for service to the Raritan Township Committee.
Darlene believes local government should work for the people who call Raritan Township home. Her goal is simple: bring commonsense leadership to Township government, support local families and businesses, and make Raritan Township an easier and more affordable place to live, work, and raise a family.
“From our families just starting out to our seniors, we need to make life easier, not harder, for our residents. Raritan Township has so much to offer, and we need to protect what makes it special while making sure it remains a great place for generations to come.”
For Darlene, responsible leadership also means being responsible with taxpayers’ money. She supports pursuing available grants, thoughtful line-item budgeting, and greater transparency so residents can clearly see how their hard-earned tax dollars are being spent.
